Latest Update – Government Advice for Residential Aged Care Facilities


As there are no cases of community transmission of COVID-19 and there are no close or casual contact locations in NSW. The NSW Health Department, NSW has done some changes in its policies

Visitors Rules:

Visitors who have been to Perth or the Peel region of Western Australia in the last few days since 17 April 2021 may only be allowed to enter residential aged care facilities if they are providing essential care to residents or with permission based on compassionate reasons.

Residents:

Residents who are going out with family and friends or attending any other outdoor event which is out of the residential gardens primacies should have to proceed only as per the current gathering information by Public Health Department, NSW

Staff:

If any of the staff members who have been to Perth or the Peel region of Western Australia since 17 April 2021 should only return to work at a residential aged care facility once they get their test results as negative.
